The microBIOMIK logo combines the claim of serious research with the rebellious attitude of the Biohacking and Open Science movement.
It thus includes the two key peer groups and creates a coherent, conjunct impression.
makro meets mikro. In accordance with the client's claim, we develop an appealing key visual: black and white images of the microscopic world merge with colorful pictures of the universe to create an unique key stimulus.
The key visual is henceforth the frame around the cumulative communication of the society; be it business cards, flyers, stickers or posters.
HUMUS SAPIENS: Crowdfunding campaign2018
get your hands dirty. In the spring of 2018, we develop a crowdfunding campaign: under the name HUMUS SAPIENS (q.e. intelligent soil) an additional brand is created, which will bundle the future activities of the association in the field of soil research.
Out of existing footage emerges a campaign video; images and graphics additionally support the campaign. The crowdfunding reaches 225% of the funding goal.
With more than € 20,000, the merger of microBIOMIK, Hackteria and Gasthaus: fermentation & bacteria can organize participatory workshops in Lucerne, Munich, Berlin and Stuttgart.
In order to further strengthen the visibility of the association, we develop and realize the corporate video in the summer of 2018.
The aim is to introduce minds and ideas and to offer the interested public an insight into work and activities of the scientists and artists involved.
In order to do justice to the orientation and aims of the society, the 'micro world' must be considered at all times. Once again, micro and macro merge to form a harmonious overall picture.
In February 2019, mikroBIOMIK society presents its activities during the MCAA General Assembly and Annual Conference in Vienna. In order to generate the best possible impact during the poster session, we develop and fabricate – in accoradance with the hacking spirit – a multimedia presentation poster.
As a gimmick we produce a short video for the social media and can thus extend the reach of the print product to the digital spheres.
Beginning 2019 mikroBIOMIK society organizes and oversees various workshops at the Bavarian Museum of Natural History biotopia. lœwn takes on the design of teaching materials and other print products.
